The story behind the name
About Agonas Redeemed
Agonas Redeemed is shaped by honest faith, hard-won growth, and the conviction that the Christian journey is both a struggle and a continuous blessing.
The name carries a deliberate dual meaning. Drawn from the Greek agōn, it speaks to the struggle, the contest, and the race every believer is called to run. Echoed in the Spanish sense of a rescued ewe, it points to the Shepherd who brings us back, restores us, and carries us home.
